Stephen Haydock

I graduated in 1985 and undertook medical training jobs in East Anglia and Leicester.

I obtained my PhD in 1990 and after Fellowship posts at the Medical Research Council and Wellcome Research, I was appointed consultant physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in 2000, where I helped establish the acute medical service, and was director of acute and general medical services from 2003 to 2007.

In 2004 I was elected as a Fellow of St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge, and director of studies in biochemistry and molecular genetics.

I took up the post of consultant physician at Musgrove Park Hospital in 1999.
