I have worked at Musgrove Park Hospital since 2010 and have a specialist interest in elective and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle; including forefoot (top of foot) surgery, rheumatoid forefoot reconstruction, arthroscopy (minimally invasive surgery on a joint) of the foot and ankle, hind foot (back of the foot) and ankle surgery, deformity correction and complex ankle, calcaneal (heel bone) and other lower limb fractures.

I trained at the University College and Middlesex School of Medicine and have a Masters degree in orthopaedic engineering, awarded from Cardiff University in 2007.

I have gained broad experience as a specialist registrar within the Severn and Wessex Deaneries and passed the FRCS(Tr&Orth) intercollegiate examination in 2008.

I undertook a twelve-month Fellowship in foot and ankle surgery in Brisbane, Australia and a second fellowship in limb reconstruction in the UK, gaining further experience in the management of complex lower limb trauma and advanced techniques in the management of deformity and non-union, periarticular fractures (those near a joint) and Ilizarov techniques (leg frames to correct problem).
