Duncan Whitehead

Duncan Whitehead

I spent the first four years of my career in several south London and Surrey Hospitals, gaining a breadth of experience in varied medical specialities.

I then gained a specialist registrar training position in the South Thames Deanery working with St. Heliers Hospital and then moved to Jersey for a year during my general medical and renal (kidney) specialist registrar training.

I moved to the South West in 2008, where I spent three years of my registrar training predominantly working in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. I then worked for three months as a locum consultant nephrologist (kidney diseases) at the Royal Devon and Exeter, before being appointed as a consultant in acute medicine and nephrology at Musgrove Park Hospital in March 2011.
