Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC)

Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (EPAC)

The clinic provides a service Monday- Friday. Currently the telephone is manned between the hours of 09:00 - 15:00. We have a confidential answer phone for times when we are unable to answer immediately or outside of these hours and messages will be returned either the same or next working day.

If the condition of the woman with severe pain/ excessive pv bleeding requires immediate advice / assessment out of hours, please contact the emergency Gynaecology Doctor via switchboard at Musgrove.

Following referral to EPAC the woman will be contacted by telephone and will be offered an appointment and or advice. It may be that the advice is that an appointment in EPAC is not required at that moment in time and supportive advice will be offered.
