An inevitable part of everyday living is balancing life's events and challenges, both work related and personal. While some events may be predictable, many are not, and having access to the right support when you need it most is crucial.

The Employee Assistant Programme (EAP) provided by Right Management Workplace Wellness provides around the clock access to free, confidential, independent, professional information and support for everyone. The EAP offers expert guidance, information, specialist counselling and support both over the telephone and online, including:

  • Consumer rights and legal information - benefits, housing problems, tax credits, disability, neighbour disputes
  • Debt management and budgeting - creditors, financial health checks
  • Emotional support - poor work/life balance, illness, crisis, anxiety, loss, self-confidence, workplace pressure
  • Family relationships - communication, marriage, co-habitation, coping with teenagers
  • Health & wellbeing - problems sleeping, fitness, weight management, alcohol, nutrition
  • Work and career issues - change , team dynamics, work overload, conflict

The Workplace Wellness team are expert and professional at helping you to proactively identify, plan and manage life events helping you to stay in control, happy, healthy and fully focused on life and work.

Many local and national retailers and organisations offer discounts for NHS staff. Our engagement team have worked in partnership to create a user friendly website that houses all of the great deals and discounts that NHS staff have access to. The website can be found here. To access these discounts follow the below steps:

  1. First click on the above link to access the site.
  2. Then choose our Trust in the drop down menu. (Taunton and Somerset NHS foundation Trust).
  3. Next type in your email address. (preferably not your work, tst, email).
  4. Then create a password and you're ready to go.

The Trust's charity Love Musgrove are running an internal work lottery for Musgrove staff. The money raise each month goes towards imporving patient experience. There are 5 prizes to be won each month, top prize of £1000.00.
