Important message to patients and visitors re: flooring works - 13 February 2015

On Monday, 16 February 2015, work will begin to replace the flooring along the corridor in the Old Building at Musgrove Park Hospital, which runs between the Jubilee Concourse, to the T-junction leading to the beacon centre, theatres, ITU, children’s unit and Parkside.

This work is necessary as the current corridor surface is very old, worn and in need of replacing. Its replacement flooring will create a safer, smoother surface to walk on.

To minimise disruption in the hospital, the work will be carried out in phases at night between 6pm and 6am. However, to enable the work to progress the corridor will be closed at some points and diversions put in place.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes to people accessing the hospital during this time.
