Share your feedback on our services and help make a difference
We would really like to hear about your experience of our services so that we can give praise for the things that have gone well, and make improvements where your experience has not been so positive.
Feedback from patients, relatives, carers and visitors is vital in helping us to improve. You can share your feedback by talking to members of staff who have cared for you, completing one of our surveys, telling your story through Patient Opinion, getting in touch with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS), or using our website feedback form. Comments are shared directly with the staff they concern. You only need to use one of these channels each time you share feedback, and you can choose the method which suits you best. Here are the options:
The NHS Friends and Family Test is an option to share your views after receiving care from the NHS. It asks if you would recommend wards or departments you have used to other people. We will give you the chance to take part on the day you leave hospital, or you can select the appropriate Friends and Family Test by clicking here.
See our latest Friends and Family Test results here.
Patient Opinion is the UK’s leading, non-profit feedback platform for health services. It enables honest, meaningful, two-way conversations between patients and health professionals, with the ultimate aim of sharing stories to help improve services.
Any patient can share a story – be it positive or for improvement. And this can be done anonymously if you wish. Have a voice, say what was good or could have been better and make a difference. Just visit the ‘Tell your story’ page here and complete the online form.
The feedback you share will be sent to us so that we can respond to you through the Patient Opinion website. When your story has a response from us, Patient Opinion will let you know.
Sharing your story on Patient Opinion allows others to learn from your experience and see what other patients are saying about us.
