Somerset’s NHS organisations and the local authority have today (10 November) published the county’s Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP).
This plan describes why we need to change the way health services are structured and delivered in order to meet the future needs of the people of Somerset.
Through the Somerset STP we will create a vibrant and viable future for services which support you, your family and your neighbours from maternity to end of life care.
Over the coming months and guided by the patient organisation Healthwatch Somerset, we look forward to discussions with the public, patients, carers and our heath and care colleagues to shape and develop the plans and build a shared vision for high quality, sustainable services.
Having read our plan, please share your thoughts with us using the address below.
Your feedback will inform further engagement activities and help us develop plans which recognise your own experiences and aspirations for health and social care in Somerset.
